"Request Materials for Purchase" form
The material request form has always been overly complicated, so this was an attempt to make it simpler and easier to complete.

"Sit, stay, watch TV shows" bookmarks
When our checkout policy changed to allow DVDs of TV shows to be checked out for 2 weeks, we needed something fun and colorful to get the news out. The rainbow background and gray bars are straight from our style guide, but the actual design was mine.

"Get Your Game On" postcard
The easiest way for our patrons to see all of the board games we have is through our account on BoardGameGeek; this card is now included in every game box. This is the most "follow the style guide" example, as it is a flyer template created by our in-house marketing coordinator. (However, this marks the time I discovered Unsplash and other CC-0 sources.)

"Ready to roll?" Board game display system
Since multiple board games are packaged together in "game night packs," each available item is represented by a display card. (The color stripe at the top represents the size of the game box.) I designed and engineered the display system, though I did need help to hang the fishing line from the ceiling.

"Critical success" RPG games poster
Even though this font is not included on our style guide, I thought it fit perfectly with the idea of roleplaying games. At least the four dice are in our four library colors.

Adult programming bookmarks
Puns make everything better.

"Libraries Are For Everyone" collaboration
Rebecca McCorkindale, of the Gretna Public Library (Gretna, NE) had originally designed and shared the artwork for the Build a Better World summer reading program; my director wanted to take part in Library Legislative Day and asked the staff to make signs to take to the capitol building. Rather than attempt to draw something, I reached out to Rebecca to see if I could use her art with my phrase. Together, we made something amazing.
